Heading 5

The SWLC was established in 1957, and prior to that it was part of the National Council for Women established in Sheffield in 1926.

We are a group of approximately 200 women who meet for lunch and a lecture

once a month between October and May.

We are always delighted to welcome new members.

Meetings are held in the  Mercure Sheffield St Paul's Hotel and Spa

on the first Friday of the month (October to May).

The Lectures are very varied and cover History, TV and showbusiness, the natural world and speakers with some amazing stories and life experiences to relate.

You will find that we do try to offer something to interest everyone.

It’s an ideal place to meet your friends and hopefully make

new ones in a relaxed atmosphere.

You can also invite a friend to share a very enjoyable occasion.
