Heading 5

The SWLC was established in 1957, and prior to that it was part of the

National Council for Women established in Sheffield in 1926.

We are a group of approximately 200 women who meet for lunch

and a lecture each month between October and May.

We are always delighted to welcome new members.

Meetings are held in the  Mercure Sheffield St Paul's Hotel

on the first Friday of the month (October to May).

Our Lectures are very varied and cover History, TV and showbusiness and the natural world. We have excellent speakers with some amazing stories and life experiences to relate.

We try to offer something to interest everyone.

The SWLC is an ideal place to meet your friends and

hopefully make new ones in a relaxed atmosphere.

You can also invite a friend to share a very enjoyable occasion.
